It's old news that women are from Venus and men are from Mars. It's safe to say the era of gender differentiation is over. You are at present treading on the soft-coloured terracotta of the era of total self-absorbedness of both genders. Men are still strong, respected, respecting each other and a fable glimmer of what was once the chivalry code still resides within small amounts of the male population (on the planet). Hey, maybe even you, sitting there, are one of them last knights in shining armour standing. Thing is, nowadays, it's not so bad to be a woman. I, here by, denounce all accusations of feminism against my persona. All I am saying is there are some perks to not having man parts. I've met a lot of women who disagree. But ladies, NEWSFLASH, being a woman is sort of cool. Wanna know why?!:
1. We have a perfectly valid excuse to cry without a reason, uncontrollably east sweet and have an occasional tantrum once a month... and blame it on something else.
2. Friendship between women is often disregarded as insincere and the myth of the honorable male friendship is alive. What very few men know is that we want you to believe that. A friendship between two women (but not more) passes all boundaries, both in a good and bad way. It stays, lasts and lingers.
3. We can go in and out of beauty parlours in the day light, without being thought of as way too vain.(gays excluded, of coarse) I've nothing against well groomed men, just not better groomed than me (given daily I do spend more than an hour in front of the mirror).
4. Those innocent-wide-eyed-naive girl scenes are a prerogative and they do work, like it or not.
5. I'm sure you've all heard the expression 'girls night out'...Yeah, those are something men should be envious of.
6. Same goes for 'girls night in' - massages, sharing secrets and a guilty shared midnight-to-early-hours snack!
7. And as much as I resent saying what I am going to say, here goes nothing- High heels!...
You got my point (hopefully). Being a woman is sort of cool, which could also be said about being human (HA- love that show-the British version,of coarse). I'm almost sure being a dude rocks too. Good thing nowadays you get to choose.
